How many pounds of crushed coral would you recommend?

I'm starting a 90 gallon FOWLR tank, not sure how much crushed coral to go with though. 1-2 pounds per a gallon?

    Thanks

if ur just doing fish, go barebottom. It makes cleaning up after nasty eaters a snap.

I have run one both as FOWLR and even in a reef tank
as Daniel states this makes maintenance really easy -
I used to do a weekly water change where all water was discarded and in between those water changes I would also syphon the tank through a filter sock and then pour the water back in as a bare bottom tank with detrius / sediment on the bottom does not look great

painting the outside of the base of your tank white, will help to make it look more attractive (Tip read on one of Tangster's posts) and you get the ease of maintenance benefits

when I had a FO tank I ran BB and loved it. I had a bb reef too but used sand when I set up my new tank. I am regretting the sand now

cc is harder to keep clean then sand. I have a reef tank and I'm switching out my cc to sand in the next couple of weeks. Also, some fish may require sand instead of cc.
