I purchased a 72 bowfront as an upgrade to a 46 bowfront but I got really mad at the fact that the stands are so expensive for them.

I decided that I likecucbe tanks just as well. Any one know of a place to buy them? I have a LFS that makes them locally but I wanted to get an idea of how much is a good price. I would like to get a 65 or possible 85

Google? Wow why didnt I think of that:-[

but other than your flash of brilliance and lack therof on my part.. i would like to get answers from the community on what genrally they have paid for there cube. I can compare these results to my LFS prices. I dont need to google retail pricing! Or i could possible get a hit on used equipment.

I'm getting a new 60 rimless cube for my wife in few weeks. It turns out finding a rimless cube is not easy. We're having our tank custom made. If you don't mind a rim, Marineland makes one that I think is very nice looking. I don't know the price offhand, but it looks like a solid, attractive tank.

Sorry I wasn't overly trying to be an ass it just seemed all your questions originally could be answered by a simple Google.
Used is always the best way to go. I get all my tanks from Craigslist. Going prices on used tanks is a buck a gallon. Don't matter if its square cube triangle oval whatever. Only way it would be more is for starphire. I know that PO's a lot of people thinking about selling but that's realistically what they sell for. I got my 200 long for $150 and its in great shape. Tanks do not hold value, and just in my opinion buying new just for the sake of new isn't really all that smart. Just be sure the tank doesn't have any leaks and if its going to be a reef, make sure copper was never run in it. It can just be a little tough if you have EXACT dimensions in mind. When buying used, you can't be too picky ;)
But seriously cube tanks are getting really popular, heck petco and petsmart all have a selection of them. Just look around. As long as you're not dead set on some oddball dimensions, starphire or rimless or anything "special" like that, buying one off the shelf will always be cheaper than having one made.

My there is a place locally that builds tank. they have a 60gal rimless for $280. unless you want black silicone and overflow its a little more. Im not into rimless. They look great but they lose a gallon of water a day. plus cant have any type of fish that jumps. Which eliminates, gobys, wrasse, blennys, jawfish, grammas and any other of the many fish that jump. Then on top of that you cant have snails.

They have a Rimmed aquarium for $139 but its more like $375 once I add in my options. I guess thats the cheapest ill get it huh?

The cube tanks typically sell really fast as they are in higher demand and lower supply.

I got a 30 gallon oceanic cube (NOT a biocube) and stand with hood, light, and 10 gallon eshopps sump for $200.00 in New Jersey. It was in brand new condition.

I had my LFS order my Marineland 70g cube direct from the company. I had checked prices on getting a custom cube built rimless but it was so much more expensive. I'm very happy with the quality of the Marineland, very happy I went that route. I'm fairly sure I paid a little under $700 for the tank and Marineland Ventura stand. Basically that would have been the price of just the custom built tank alone.

Here is a link that shows the different variations in the Marineland/Perfecto cubes, I absolutely love mine: Saltwater Critters, Reef Aquariums & Fish Supplies, Saltwater Products & Accessories - Perfecto & Marineland Reef Ready Tanks

I bought my 93 Marineland cube for under $300 on sale with no overflow. Cubes FTW!

I dream one day of doing a 40x40x30 completely freestanding viewable from all sides... Some day...
