    Got my CUC today.

    13 nerite small
    8 nerite large
    20 florida cerith
    9 blue legged hermit
    41 dwarf cerith
    18 empty shells

So it was bogo on dwarf cerith the day i ordered. Ordered 41, expecting 82. After counting out 70 there was a butt load more, must of been over 200 . Thanks reefcleaners. After acclimation the nerites went to town on my rocks. Now they are all at the top of my glass. Is that where they hang is the glass? Either way I'm happy. I even have seen florida and dwarf ceriths already hitting the rocks. I expected them the stay in the shells for a few days.

cool. nerites will venture to the rock, sure, but they do spend a lot of their time on the glass... often crowded up in a corner. If you're not covered, you'll have the occasional escapee

I just placed another order at ReefCleaners. John seems to be a big believer in the sales adage: "Under promise, and over deliver", or he is too lazy to count ::). Either way it is a win-win. We all get the best deal on CUC, rock and algae, and ReefCleaners gets a loyal following of buyers.

John's the man for cleaners that's for true!

And just an FYI so you'll know what they are when you see them...

The indicated white spots are Nerite egg pods. You're going to have them all over soon. Most are dormant and will never hatch but they still put these white disc looking pods down on everything. I even have turbo snails that are sporting a ring of discs on their shell. LOL

im not buying ceriths anymore, only dwarf ceriths

my hermits kill the big ones as soon as they go in, for no reason....even though i also have a bunch of empty shells for them

the dwarf ceriths are owning machines, they do more than all my turbos, nerites, and astreas combined

So does anything eat them or do they just accumulate?

I'm not buying anymore Turbos. They do a heck of a job on a tank but only until the hermits do a job on the Turbos, as in....DINNER!!
I agree 100% with you sams, the tiny cerinths do a fantastic job possibly second only to those new fuzzy chitons & the urchins. Try them!
