Just a curious question. I am getting my clean up crew that was recommended to me from John at reef cleaners tomorrow. How much of a bio load do these little critters add to the tank? I am getting half of what was recommended to me. 40 Dwarf Cerith snails, 20 Nassarius Vibex, and 11 Nerite Snails. The reason I ask, is would it be safe to add a small fish on the same weekend or should I treat them like another fish and wait 2 weeks? Thanks for any help.

They add very little bioload to a tank. The question of whether to add a fish really depends more on how long your tank has been cycling and what type of fish. If you are certain that you are fully cycled, I think you are ok to add one fairly hardy fish (eg. damsel, clownfish, chromis, etc.). The CUC should not affect that.

    agreed.

Bioload of the CuC from reefcleaners is negligible and probably a negative bio-load considering they are cleaning other critters bio loads up.

I would treat this additional bio load in same way I would treat the load of a coral. (that is, I ignore it).

John is awesome, if you ordered half, you will probably receive 3\4 ;)

    His recommendations are wonderful IMO

Thanks JJK, the tank is fully cycled I have not seen a spike to ammonia nitrite or nitrates in over 3 weeks now, and I check everyday. The tank is 8 weeks old now. I added 2 very small clowns 2 weeks ago and everything has been spot on. The fish in question would prob be a Midas blenny. Thanks again.

John is a beast at getting the stuff you want and need at a very low price! if you have a fuge then you could get mangroves to further help the cuc but its just a question of if you want them.
