I would like some advise as to the Detritivore Kit offered by Inland Aquatics. I have set up a deep sand bed in my new install, and after reading some articles would like to "populate" it with the appropriate kritters to keep it clean and healthy. The only offering I could find for such a product is listed below with a link to their web site.

• Mysis Shrimp: Few adults, 50-100 juveniles

• Gammarus Shrimp: Couple adults: several juveniles

• Other Amphipods, Copepods, Etc.: Non specific selection/numbers

• Miniature Brittle Stars: Six
• Baby Bristle Worms: Twelve +
The following selections may also be included in your Detritivore kit. (based on availability)

• Stomatella Varia: Three
• Peppermint Snails:Five
• Micro Stars: Five
And their statement:
Bristle Worms are completely reef safe. In fact, for the money, they are the best detritivore in the kit!

Does this kit seem reasonable and appropriate to maintain a healthy sand bed? My system has/will have a mix of SPS, LPS, Zoaes.

Also is inlandaquatics.com a reputable organization. I am concerned that their web site doesn't actually provide a means to place an order on line, but requires you email or telephone them - any feed back about them?

Thanks!

Morgan is a good guy, he's just an old "hippie-type" and he isn't gonna mess with all of that newfangled automatic website stores. In fact, if you've ever purchased a Green Sarcophyton http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2006/1/lines_album/Green-Mound.JPG or a blue line clownfish, those would be some of his babies.

In addition to his kit, I would add a few nassarius snails and a couple cerith and nerite snails to keep the sand turned over more. Indopacific Sea Farms has some other nice offerings too.

Interesting - I've called six times - always get message, and sent email. Apparently Morgan is on vacation?
