Hi all, I been acclimating my new livestock in my QT tank and tested a little ammonia on the charts. What do you recommend to lower the ammonia asap.

I am thinking water change but looking for other suggestions. Also thinking about Seachem Prime. What do you think..

Water changes man, I try to stay away from the chemicals as much as possible.

Prime or Amquel will work short term, but a water change will be more adventitious to the livestock.

If it gets too high I would take him out but I treated two tangs in my hospital tank for a week using daily water changes and amquel. The test kit still showed more ammonia than it could read though.
