    Hi My LFS has a nice LR and its cheap I want to buy it
    before its gone can I cure it myself? I have a 50gal container but no skimmer:( I can put a airstone in there although I dont know if its going to be of any help
    what you think?

    Ya sure. Or you could just put a power head in there with a heater. Have the PH air intake hose drawing air and away you go.
    This will also give you a chance to inspect and get ride of any unwanted hich hickers.

    Only if it's mine LOL. No anway yes you could do it without a skimmer, I don't but you can. Also what does the rock look like and how much are you picking up it may be tank cured already.

    It is a nice it has lots of coraline algea its from hawaii I think. this is from the LFS on 63rd and woodward ave they have lots of it I would say about 400 lb I'm thinking about picking maybe 30lb:)

    Hey Phil I have couple of questions
    My peper shrimp are herassing my ananome they are looking for food walking allover it and stiking their feet inside its mouth I have 3 of them is that to much?
    Another question is about my KH it reeds 7 is it really bad?

    O and one more thing my nitrate is around 5.0-7.0 is that a big issue?
    people say it should read 0 what is your opinion?
