;D Hi everyone... I´m new to this forum and very much looking forward to exchanging info.
Just moved to Spain and not many people here that share the hobby.
Question: Read on the net about scrubbing new LR before putting it in the tank.
What cycling method and what time frame are you suggesting?

Also, curing with Damsel or with dead shrimp?

Right now I just ordered 50lbs of LR. Is that enough if I add base rock?

It depends on what you are trying to do an how much bioload you want to carry, but generally you will want to have atleast 1LB of LR per gallon.

That dry base rock will become LR, so assuming you have 60lbs of DBR, i think you will be ok if you go slow like you are supposed to :)

I have about 150 lbs of LR in my 75. about 40 of it was dry base rock that i am waiting to convert to the good stuff.

If you look in the live rock forum on the left hand side you will see many differing opinions and options for curing. Some do outside the tank, some do in your tank....some say nuke it so you know what you have in your tank. I will leave it to you to decide what is best for your situation.
