Is it possible to cure the rock in a seperate tank, and then add it to the DT? We ordered some rock for use in a new tank, but plans have been delayed on that, its about 25lbs of rock, right now sitting in a 5gal bucket with a filter running on it and frequent water changes, been that way for about 3 weeks now.

    Thanks again

You can cure it in a bucket. You will need some sort of light source, and you can cut back on water changes if its just rock.

it sits in front of a large window that gets sun, but not direct sun, will that work? Or does ALL the rock need direct light?
