Curious red kelp/reaweed?

    Recently I noticed a reddish like kelp/seaweed looking thing sprout from my live rock and wasnt sure if it was Deadly or not cuz its growing at i would guess prolly like 1 inch a week. so i was curious as to what it is and how big does it get lol.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Halymenia sp., it can get out of hand. I think it's a very pretty algae but it can take off, especially if you have other algae issues going on.
