Doah! I just broke the fitting on my chiller. I have a 1/3 H.P. Current model 2646. The fitting is a right angle screw/hose barb and it is the barb that broke off in the hose. Chiller is off and lights are out. I need to locate one A.S.A.P.. I have tried my LFS and they don't stock them and they said try on-line. I have searched the places I know but I am still a novice and only know a few sites.

Can you recommend some sites that might stock this item? One on-line retailer said they could order it but it would take around two weeks. I can't have this off for that long.

    Please help.

I would give Current a call. They have great customer service. You should be able to have one overnighted to you.

I would try an Ace or True Value type hardware store, the Ace by me has a big selection of barbed x threaded fittings in both straight and 90 degree types. HD an Lowes don't have near the selection around here.

i agree with ^^^. theres no need to buy this part at a fish store. it should be replaceable with some standard plumbing fittings. unless im missing something?

I will go look and hope I find it. This one has a rubber compression gasket on it that fits into the female (chiller) side. Kina looks proprietary.

Anybody still have a Current manual with an 800 number?

Nothing at Ace and I cannot get ahold of Current. I have e-mailed them and they responded that they will contact me back in two business days.

Anymore ideas? Where's the parts emporium?
