I have a 90g being turned into a reef. I am looking at either the Current USA Outer Orbit or the Sunpod. Any thoughts? Also, can these be run by themselves or do I need more light?

I have an Outer Orbit 48" on my 75g and everything loves it. I presume that this is what you want to use on your 90g. I would suggest that any really light demanding corals etc be placed higher in the tank and you should be fine.

I have a 20" orbit sunpaq with 2 40 watt pc's in it, and the lighting is really nice(compared to the single 18 watt 50/50 bulb I used to have). It makes the tank look like a tropical ocean. That is with one pc having a 10,000k/6,700 daylight, and the other having a 460 nm/420nm. The moon light are really cool too, they are just enought light to make a rippling effect on the rock and substate at night. As far as the hood goes, I think it is put together really good, and the fan/fan's are nice a quite. JMO
