    the light is 48in 2 150mh with xm14000k bulbs brand new and 4x54w t5 actinic 2 new 460
    will need 2 more t5's

he is asking a really good price and my questions are

    what corals would this support?

Would this cause i big heat problem with the built in fans?

You should be able to keep just about any coral you want with placement based on light need. Get a KZ Fiji Purple or UVL 75/25 or UVL Actinic White for one of the T5 bulbs and maybe a true actinic for the other.

You shouldn't have any heat problems. I just replaced my T5 fixture with 2 150w pendants and I have them about 7-8" off the water running 12 hours a day and have no heat issues at all. 150s are considerably weaker then 250w MH. Placement will be more of a concern. If you can I would suggest 2 250w MH if you can, but that light should be fine for soft and lps corals.

I don't see why he wouldn't be able to keep sps with that much light?

    Is that too much light?

You shouldn't have a problem keeping those but depending on how high you hang it you could have some heat issues. I have this light really low but I have a chiller so I don't care.

the intensity quickly diminishes with depth. simply put, your PAR is not strong enough to get it to where you need it.

to the OP: that light is good, as others have said, you will need to keep sps up high and everything else wherever you want. all should be good :)
