custom built tank stand

    So this stand took me 3 days to make tell me what you think DSC03910.JPG I also has a 29 gal fuge in the bottom. Thinking about making an auto top off system but don't know how I want to hide it yet.

    Looks good. Did you use 2 types of stains or 2 types of wood.

    I see someone has had some practicing with a miter saw. Nice, clean 45 degree cuts!

    Well it is my job. I am a carpenter. But yes I used rough sawn pecan and finished it down. The plywood is just that and use a walnut stain on it and the pecan was just finished with tung oil. made all trim and everything myself. cost about $120 to make on the count of using old 2x4 and plywood from other jobs.

    It's always a good feeling to recycle/reuse old building material. It's saved me a load of money at my house.

    well that is the good thing about being bohock, we save everything. I just wish I could find that one thing sometimes, cause I know that I saved it:p
