    I have really been looking into making the plunge into LED lighting. I am willing to put the money needed into it. Is there a good manufacturer I can call to get something custom made for me. I don't know if i can handle a DIY led project at this time, unless its simpler than I think. Any ideas help!

    What is your reason for going custom? There are some really good commercial options out there that have been thoroughly tested by the reef community. These lights are expandable, have warranties and produce reliable results. If your main concern is cost, why not look at used?

    Its pretty simple, you don't even have to solder if you don't think you have time or know how... Check this 24 led kit from Rapid, its all plug and play, you just need to pick out a heatsink and potentiometer, then click the parts together. http://www.rapidled.com/24-led-plug-n-play-retrofit-kit-dimmable/

    Or have a reefing buddy put one together...
