So I just moved in, and do not want to bring my 75, i want a corner bowfront tank, i feel it will fit and look much better in the apartment.

I have a corner that one is around 3ft by 3ft. The one wall might be a little longer.

The guy said he will get me prices on a 92gal corner tank, but he also said he does acrylic custom tanks, and he is located very close to home. He said he would come to my apartment and measure and help me decide what is best for the space available.

here is a crappy pic i just drew, blue is tank, black are walls, gray is window, orange is stand.

I am thinking with stand to go out to the right under the window to give me space for my sump and storage space! And also "table" space to do stuff on. haha hope its not to hard to understand.

I may just plan ahead, and build the stand out long enough that i could eventually put a 6' tank next to the corner tank. Then use the 6ft as my reef, and put the lion i have always wanted in the 92!

 

personally if you have the room go with the 6ft tank.

as far as teh acrlyic I have never had one but know they scratch a bit easier than glass but as just as strong as glass if not stronger. also with the corner tank you are sacraficing a bit of legnth for debth.

Added a pic of what i am thinking, i am now thinking, make the stand go all the way across the room for storage, and eventually i can put the 6' long tank next to the 90 corner.
