    I'm not sure I follow?? Would this still be filtering water as it comes INTO the main compartment?:confused:

    So the original design prevents light from reaching whatever's under that eggcrate. Understood.

    What I don't get, is wouldn't the design you specify prevent pods from making their way into the display tank?
