I would fight cyano with elevated pH, increased waterflow, use of carbon and the removal of organics... Isn't marinesnow a coral food?

    Happy reefing!

Marine snow is food for filter feeders...I had a cyano outbreak and do not like to use chemicals but I did hear that Chemiclean is about the best instead I did a 50% water change and got control of my Phosphates and nitrates and it shut it down...You will also need to find the source....Mine was a live rock that I bought. it is out front now in the garden....good luck...

the coral snow is supposed to add a bacteria that will out compete the cyano of there food source. I saw this on the J&L Aquatics web site.

like a band aid the problem needs to heal before removing. personally i have no problem with people using bandaids if there is healing taking place;D
