    Well none of it is slimy or bubbly, just solid red pieces on my LR, i have alot of purple coraline and i really think through reading that mine is a coraline and red algae. thanks so much for all the help.

    Looks like coraline algea to me. Hard to tell from the pic. If it is red turf algea, get some Turbo fluctuosa (turbo grazers) in there asap. The red turf algea can spread quick and smother corals.
