    Your bryopsis had to have come from something you introduced into your tank, like LR or some lifestock. That strain has to be put in, it won't just appear, kind of like aiptasia anemones.
    One way to battle bryopsis is to elevate your Mg levels up towards the 1800-2000 mark.
