Cyano only on macro algae?

    Ive got some macro algae that came on one of my live rocks. the cyano it seems to only be growing on the macro algae (i think its macro algae).

    Im going to take it out and scrub it down one of these days.

    Yep thats macro. You should be able to blow the cyano right off of it with a power head.

    +1 to a macro, (likely a pest macro), cyano is epiphytic meaning it likes to grow on things. algae is a prime target

    Its strange because i have a koralia 4 blowing on it. my cyano likes to flap in the current.
