    +1 on siphoning it off with small tubing. I has issues with cyano a while back and used some 1/4 inch id tubing to suck it off my rock and out of the sand. It will allow you to work slower and won't suck up your whole sand bed.

    Im gonna try that today with some left over RODI tubing i have. Ive been doing it with slightly larger tubing. Maybe i can get almost all of it out this way. just hope it doesnt get clogged.
