My 10 gallon is starting to get some major cyano on the sandbed and around rocks. I have a Korilla Nano 240 and Korilla 1 for flow and tried directing them all over the place to go a long the sandbed but the torch coral makes it a bit difficult. Maybe I just need some more time for the tank to establish because it usually subsides and disappears eventually on its own.

Yeah doing a 5 gallon water change tomorrow. My mom thought the ATO was loose and stuck the hose under water. That started a siphon going back into the ATO bucket and then back out again so salinity is at 1.020. Also sucked off some of the torch's tentacle tips, which I found at the bottom of the ATO bucket.

Adding carbon and gfo will help also. And shorten up the light cycle for a bit,and like Saints Fan said, water changes to get your nutrients down.Starve it out.

Light cycle is at 10 hrs, going to drop it down to 6 this weekend when I go on vacation. I would like to run carbon or something but where to put it? Haha I have 2 Emerald Crabs in the AC fuge.

Sounds like a plan, you'll also want to bring that salinity back up slowly.

That's what I'm planning on doing. Need some more snails and hermits though, some green hair is showing up as well, and I don't want to let the Emeralds back in the tank. Haha
