I am using distilled water from target. Lol 89cents a gallon ugh. I am getting an ro/di unit this week.

I have zoanthids, hammer coral, xenia, a mushroom, a dersea clam, fish, and a another coral i forget the name of. I may set up my fluval edge and just put all my corals in that so that i do not kill any of them. Clam as well because i believe that needs the light 2. I have two Orphek Reef aquarium Led lighting Blog News leds for my fluval edge. Not even on the market yet! woohoo! So they should be awesome for the corals. Then i can leave the lights off.

Ok all corals and clam are in fluval edge 6gal and lights are staying off for 3 days. After the lights are off for 3 days how do i know if the algae/bacteria is dead or not? I mean the rocks will stall all be covered with brown stuff wont they? Should i take them out and clean them? How would i do that?
