    Has anyone ever used red-slime remover made by chemiclean?

    Havent used it but alot of people here recommend it---also increase your flow to that area where it is growing

    No offense but with questions like that you might want to use the sites search feature.... It is posed close to once a week if not more...

    Chemi Clean by Boyd Enterprises is a good product that works but has a few hitches... Follow the directions to a tee.... don't over do it. Also take out carbon filtration if using it, and it is best to turn off skimmer.
    Skimmer will go crazy for a few days after you turn it back on. The thing about cyano is band aids like chemi clean do not address the heart of the problem. Make sure you have ample flow, the pH is where it should be, the organics aren't building up and make sure the skimmer is doing what it should.
    These are long term solutions to your problem.

    No problem... Sometimes you can even check in a sub forum for something. Next time try the algae forum or chemistry.... There is ALOT of great info here, browse around for awhile!!
