cycle question :)

    so after that super cool youtube vid of that mantis tank i decided to upgrade my guys tank :)

    my question is if i take the sand from his old tank and take the water from that tank / and water from my other tanks can i avoid a cycle ? or create a short cycle ?

    im also making a built in fuge kind of thing if that makes any difference

    It's a toss up on that. It may go through a mini cycle or may not. If anything it won't be more than a week.

    Yeah, as long as you move everything over at once and don't let it sit around, you will only get a mini cycle if anything.
