I'm upgrading this weekend from a 40 to a 90. I have currently about 50 lbs of live rock in my 40 that's been going a couple of years. I have about 50 lbs of dry rock that came out of another tank but has been sitting on a patio out of water for several months. I have about 60 lbs of sand that's also been setting for a while. Rinsed but setting in buckets. Adding the sand and dry rock along with my live rock what kind of a cycle am I'm looking to get ? I have a bottle of bio spira I can use to help it along. Any tips would be great.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Probably not much with 50 lbs of cured LR. I like Microbacter7 personally. If you have no die off from the LR and remove as much detritus as possible before the transfer, make sure the sand is well rinsed and the dry rock is rinsed I would think two weeks would probably do it.

To be safe and make sure you're not going to have a full swing cycle. If you're confident and see no ammonia spike because off all the cured LR then a week. I have done it that way, but I always stock slowly and do small water changes.
