Blue leg and red are "reef safe". I put it in quotes because there is always the chance for an exception. For the most part these will never give you a problem.

+1 There is a chance with any HC turning to the dark side. Some aquarists do not keep HCs in reef tanks at all. I do. I like them. They have personality.

Also, it is time for you to get the required test kits if you do not have them yet. Salifert is a very good, accurate brand.

    NH4, NO2, NO3, pH, PO4, Mg, Ca, ALK, I

These are the ones I got.

    Cleaner Shrimp

I have a kit already but the amonia kit part test was bad so im returning it to marine depot and they are sending me a tropic marin one that has everything but phosphate and calcium. I will need to get those soon.

Do you know what the skunk cleaner shrimp eats? I only feed the fish flakes. I dont know if he will just eat anything around the tank? I dont want to start feeding the damsels frozen food because they are already acustom to flake. Will the shrimp eventually eat the flake?

    Thanks for the advice

I think mine might be from a diferent region because they have a light wite and blue shell, ill post a pic. The spiral is very defined.

They will eat what they can get. Whether it be parasites off the fish or brine shrimp or flake food. If they get hungry, they will scavenge.

    Hair algea Gone

So yesterday, I placed some magazines under my lights to reduce the amount of light so that the corraline would start to pick up, i read this is good to do?
So last night i saw my Mexican turbos eating some algea toward the bottom of the tank, and this morning the hair algea that i had growing on the sand is completely gone, Could it be that the loweing of the light weakened the algea? or did the turbos feast last night? Also my shrimp shed its skin. All that in one night. Will the turbos eat my coraline after they are done with the hair algea in the tank? What will i need to feed them with after that algea is gone?

    No more hair algea
