I might try to collect something next time I go down to the Keys and get the appropriate papers. I'm looking to get trimix certified then maybe hang out at 100-120ft looking for BASSLETS!

I want to get scuba certified. I have always loved the water but, I would have to go somewhere that I can do it all in a week. I don't know if I could even afford it. I live in such a rural area that the nearest school is 5 hours a way in NM. They only do the school on weekends and they split them up. Very disappointing.

you can do all the book work online through PADI these day and then do your open water and pool checks on one weekend easy. Now that being said you need experience for anything more than a basic dive. Its easy to get in over your head no pun intended. I think its a great hobby though and I live in Montana lol.
