No, there wouldn't be enough salt in there to register anything so it would be fine. And yes, you want to label...or you can just taste it before using,,,LOL;D

 

lol knowing me i would still get it mixed up lol my parents are going to be mad now with how much water i need to get, i keep the jugs with water up in my room, hopefully i have enough space for both the sw and freshwater, i really wish i had room in my stand

 

I have the same stand, but the oak version. It was a great stand for my freshwater setup, but now for saltwater it is not so great. No room for a sump.

 

also do you think that once i get my salanity to settle down, should the cycling end

 

yup, it sucks, it's a pretty much pointless stand, i wish there was a way that we could at least put doors on the thing, i mean what were they thinking with that dinky little door, people want everything to be covered, i don't even use the outside shelves

 

No way to tell for sure, but I would say you have a good chance of it ending soon. It's gotta end sometime! I know the wait is so frustrating and every tank is different so there is really no way to tell other than by testing.

 

u can get bacteria to put in your tank to start the cycle. My tank cycled in like a week with it.

 

yea i didn't mind the wait when all of the readings were extremely high, but now that it's just soooooo close of a finished cycle it's killing me.
