First off, if you want to be succesful, I would stop going to PetCo.
Stop adding the "bacteria in a bottle". Its only going to muck stuff up. The only way your going to establish the cycle is by going slowly and time. Lots of time.
How long has the tank been running?

Really too early to be expecting things to be happening. It's going to take at least 8-10 weeks for the cycle, specially if you added the fish after it was set-up.

Your one Damsel is most likely acting funny because he is getting attacked by the other one. Damsels are very territorial, two in a 30g tank will most likely end badly. LFS owners get away with it because they have some many in a tank at once, it kind of spreads out the fighting so that no one fish gets attacked to often.

if black and white damsel dies, i should take it out of there right away? would him dying effect the other fish? I dont have a quaranteen tank to nurse him back to health. Also these damsels are small only about an inch to an inch and a half is that ok for cycling. Should i replace the dead one(if it dies)?

Well i just got home and watched them for a little while, looks like the blue one is attacking the black and white one, not sure what to do at this point. Just let them fight until the B/w one dies or give the fish back to the LFS maybe they can find it a new home. It was only $4 anyway.

Are they really going at it or just chasing each other away from certain spots? I keep two damsels in my 40 gallon fine, with no fighting trouble. It would take a lot of major fighting to stress a damsel to the point of starting to keel, they are VERY hardy fish. Did you buy this one at the PetCo? Is it showing any signs of disease? How is it's appetite, and what are you feeding your damsels?
