cycling parameters

    When i begin to cycle the tank is this the only test kit i will need?

    Is this kit fairly easy to read and use?

    It looks like this kit has no ammonia test which is important to moniter during cycling.The API saltwater master kit would be a better choice,it includes tests for ammonia,ph,nitrites and nitrates.Pretty much all you need until you start adding corals.Its very easy to use and not very exspensive.

    It does have the Ammonia test kit so you should be good to go. Also API test kits can be unreliable so I would stick to the Red Sea kits or upgrade to Salifert or Elos when purchasing future kits. The main things you will be testing for during the cycle will be Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate.;)
    Redsea kits are very easy to use IMO.
