Looks like beneficial calcerous algae to me. Congrats! You'll want to start seeing it grow on your glass or equipment. Start looking on powerheads or overflow boxes etc. It'll take a while but just stare at your tank for hours and find all the cool stuff.

Your cycle is by no means over. In fact, it hasn't even started. It doesn't matter if your Live Rock was cured or not. You can test all you want for the first two or three weeks and get readings of zero. But after that you will start to see the spikes. Personally I would get those fish out. Especially the damsels, if they don't die. You don't want to be stuck with those buggers down the road. The older and bigger they get, the meaner they get and tend to attack any new fish you try to add to the tank.

I started with two damsels, and Brandon is right, they are mean....but I did notice that only one Damsel had an "attitude", it was the blue one, the yellow tail damsel is a coward, I kept the yellow tail, I got the all blue out....the yellow tail now tries to be a macho fish, but the others just ignore him...quite funny actually.

I think I'm in the same position. My tank is almost 4 weeks old everything except the nitrates are 0. But i will take my time before i put a fish in there. Just now setting up my QT tank so by the 6 weeks end It should just about be finished. Then I will put my fish in there

You know after hearing from everyone with the exception of a few who agree that it just might be over ( but I should'nt take a chance), I have decided to wait, in terms of adding anything bigger like inverts. I think I can wait another 6-8 weeks for that. I already have fish in there. 2 damsels, 2 clowns 1 tomato clown and one regal blue tang. So far, so good!! All readings, that are necessary to keep my tank going well, are in control.
