    Unfortunatley, I think you are correct :(

    I truly thought I had scored a good hitchhicker :(

    it's so hard to tell though from the pics...I haven't noticed a stalk or anything...when I turn the light out it shrivels up kinda like some mushrooms...is this not a correct assumption?

    Better to be safe than sorry. A true ric would have a hard time making it through a cycle anyways. And leave the lights off with the exception of your actinic lighting.

    the tank is going to cycle and i am a fan of freebe's if the coral makes it awsome if not i look at almost ever thing i do is an experiment lights on carry on as normal thanks for quoteing me i feel like somebody now
