You will need to seed the rock with some type of beneficial bacteria. Whether it comes from a cup of live sand, a piece of live rock or several products out there made just for this. I personally used SeaChem Stability to seed mine. I also cooked my new dry rock for 2 weeks before adding it to my tank and then seeded it.

this product works great, it can produce enough bacteria for fish to survive very quick, that being say, it only go's away from what i believe by this statement, it tells you to put and animal in the tank that will help cycle it faster at the time you put in the product, this i wouldn't do, how i know this sounds a little out there but, i have used it to help cycle my tanks without hurting fish by being placed in and uncycled tank, okay its human urine. its a purified and sanitary way to help cycle the tank without harm to fish or letting some piece of food rot in your tank, you can also use it without the use of a starter bacteria. it works;)

i dont wana use my old LR or sand. everything new. rock is dead ocean rock and aragonite sand. dead shrimp or ammonia chloride. i dont mind waiting 4-6 weeks. seachem stability or mb7? are they good or just dont add any bacteria and let the whole process occur naturally? iv also read to add a live crab and feed it and let it stay in the tank for a month and ammonia doesnot affect crabs. has anyone tried this?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You do not need any products.

A glass of water sitting a counter will cycle given a week or so.

Back before we had LR or LS you just added everything dry and waited 6 to 8 weeks. Now if you want to speed things up add some dry fish food add a sm pieces of filter material from your other systems and it will cycle.

this is the reason, plus rotting food actually fouls water, why make water quality worst when you don't have to.:)

here is what my plan is after reading all your posts. :
    Day1 - Water and Salt.
day2 - thermocol/styrofoam sheet at bottom and my large heavy piece of rock.
    Day3 - nothing
    Day4 - aragonite sand.
Day5 - dead shrimp or ammonium chloride 5ppm
    Day6 to day15 - nothing
Day16 - test if ammonia and nitrite 0 then add 2ppm, check after 3 hrs then after 8 hrs, if 0 then add a crab or fish next day.
Day 17 - Add crab or fish.
Day 25 - check nitrite, if 0, add ammonia 1ppm, if 0 in 3 hrs, test nitrite.
Day 26- test nitrate, if below 30ppm i guess add fish after 5 days.
    Day31 - add fish (clowns)
