How long does the cycling process take to complete? Right now my ammonia and Nitrite levels are good, but my Nitrate levels are still high.

Sorry, we don't know what "good" means to you. Please post specific numbers.

Sometimes it takes it a while to even start - so make sure your ammonia/nitrite levels went up before they became 'good', ok?

After my ammonia/nitrite piece of the cycle leveled out to 0, it took another couple of weeks for my nitrate to drop to 20... then another 2 months for that to start dropping again, at which point it finally 0'd out too.

What size tank are we talking? I have a 52 gal and I let it cycle for 2 months just to be safe. Are you seeing any algae in there? Brown especially....

I have a 75 G and the tank has brown algae. When I first put my LR a while ago (1 year plus) the tank did cycle, or so I thought. Then I put my first fish in the tank and it seems to be cycling again.
