    I have had the tank set up for 26 daYS. I havent seen it spike at all. There has been a huge red and brown algae bloom. Could it have done a quick overnight cycle or something?llol

    What were you testing for to see spike?

    What are you ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels right now?

    What test kits were you using and how old are they?

    What kind of rock did you start with? Was it dry rock, live rock with a lot of stuff on it already from an established tank, cleaner "live" rock that just looks like dry rock that's wet?
