    I have a 5 month old system, I have a 30 gal sump with a fuge.

I have calupra and codium in my fuge.

Tank is crystal clear, fuge has some red cyno like algae and these clear bubbles, not sure how to tell which ones they are.

I am installing a 57 watt UV on my system in a week or so ( waiting on fittings ) I assume this will help but I'd like to start removing it now.

I'll take a picture later but I'm sure it's common.

    Any help would be great.

    Merry Christmas to all.

After I read that thread in Nov, I ordered some. I don't have any cyano in my DT, but always have to clean it out of my fuge. A little over a month of dosing Special Blend, and no more cyano in the fuge. The macros in the fuge seem to be a little healthier. Does it worK? I'd have to say yes, but we'll see if it works long term. If you read the science behind it, it does make a lot of sense.
