Well the LED combination is a lot different on the one you are looking at. That one will probably be around 10K output (just an educated guess) while the Reef Breeders is around 14K. I am assuming it is using 3W Bridgelux LEDs as well, but no way to confirm unless you have any more specs. I have not installed mine yet, so I can't give much feedback. I did hang it over my 125 to see how the coverage was and I can tell you for sure that you would need 3 to provide full coverage of the tank. With 3, there would be more than enough light for SPS throughout the tank (IMO). I bought mine for my small frag tank. Check out the value fixture I am talking about so you can see what I am referring to though before you make any purchases.

Thanks. O well, I'm still not sure. A year ago I bought Prestige Led fixture. But just a couple days ago I hanged it over my tank. So I still have remaining 48" to cover, thats why I need 2 more so the total will be 3. Im running out of time for that Group Buy...

Well the price is certainly right. I have to imagine that even if you bought them and did not like them, you could sell them for the same or even more afterwards.

Actually, before you do buy, are the whites all 10K?

Eh, not ideal. Most would suggest replacing those with either neutral white (4500k) or cool white (7500k). I can't say for sure one way or the other due to my lack of experience. The Reef Breeders come with (13) neutral whites for reference.

Well, Im back to square one..... Reef Breeders are around 190 cheapest...Just to try,112 is a tempting price...buy if they wont work then it is waste of money. Maybe I should stay with MH and T5s....

Well actually Reef Breeders is $180 shipped. They just did a group buy on here where they were $160 shipped.

And its not that they won't work, they will provide a lot of light. I am just not positive on the spectrum they will produce, and if it is "ideal" for corals. You can swap out individual LEDs after the fact, but if you need to swap out 10 or more, you are better off just going with a Reef Breeders since it would cost you more in the long run.
