I'm swaying more towards the Digital Aquatics Controller. I like the fact that they have many options and addons. Prices range from $99-$499. I may try the $99 lite for the breeder to see how it works out, then move to the elite for the 92. I'm an IT guy so I'd definitely like the Network option. Any opinions or thoughts?

I'm definitely leaning more towards DA. Is it worth the extra cash for the NET module? Did you begin with level 3, or later decide to upgrade to it?

I started with the level 3 no net..will prob upgrade to the RKE sometime this year..the RKE can handle a boat load more outputs and is more programable than the RKL...do a little research about the DA net heard it may not be all is made out to be as compared to the other net controllers..I don't really have the need for it so I never really looked into it..but I like mine and I am very happy with it ....HTH..

    Went with ReefKeeper Lite Plus:
DIGITAL AQUATICS REEFKEEPER LITE L3 CONTROLLER - eBay (item 270497334432 end time Aug-03-10 14:42:47 PDT)

No net, but I can always add it.

Thats what I have and I love it. I do plan on upgrading to a Elite headunit eventually, but there is nothing wrong with the Lite

Neptune all the way. I can actually program mine from my computer / the web without having a PC connected to my controller constantly. Upgrades are easier too. I've used the myReef 2.0 and while it's better than nothing, I would not buy one.

You can do the same with ReefKeeper Lite, you just need the Network module.

I used to own the RKL and now have the Apex and IMO there is no comparison.

The programming you can do on the Apex is amazing! Also web access not only to view but to change outlet states (shut on/off) is priceless.

Plus there are many apps for your phone to control the Apex also. I love being able to log in from my phone to view and check on things.
