Nice hexagon pico tank. I think you could fit two clown gobies maybe even some inverts, sexy shrimp are really neat, and some mushrooms and zoas. you should stock carefully though with such a small quantity of water. Good Luck

So its been five days, i dont have an ammonia test kit, i started with 4 gallons new water and about a gallon from my 55. I have one hermit crab thats been in there for a few days which hitched on a rock and has been doing fine. Should I go ahead and add a fish?

Very cool nano. Lots of 3reefers have set one up recently it seems. I love mine. As far as stocking goes I dont like to cram any fish in any tank under a 10gal, but considering how stationary most clown gobys are I think you could pull it off. Or just go with three sexy shrimp. They like to be kept in odd numbers and are very cool to watch. Good luck with the tank and keep us posted on progress!

Thanks norg! I tested my water today, 0 ammonia and very slight nitrate. I'm gonna be pickin up a yellow clown goby tommorow and will definitely have pics up asap. So far all I have is a zebra legged hermit crab in it and gonna throw in a variety of snails from my 55. I almost forgot, i need a heater too although the temp consistently is staying at 76 and that hermit crab is doing fine, I didnt mean to put him in there. He went for a ride on one of the rocks I transferred over. I got plenty of extra rock to spare 2 so gonna add another cool piece.

Just starting to get a diatom bloom, did a 1 gallon water change today, already have a zoa frag in there and the firefish is doing great. How long should I expect this bloom to last?

did you check nitrIte? that one is the second step in the cycle. also, IMO i would try scaping upward considering it is a tall hex tank. looking awesome otherwise though!
