I had 2 damsels 1 black/yellow tail and 1 domino damsel had them for about a month. I just got some aquacultured live rock yesterday. Last night my domino damsel was laying down near a rock I just figured he might be sleeping. today when i got home from work i didnt see either of my fish. I started looking and found the domino damsel covered in what looks like spider webbing. Could this have been a bristle worm or any ideas? The yellow tail is still doing well.

    Webbing?!?
Bristle worms will actually eat on the outside of a dead fish or find a way inside the fish and eat. I'm not aware of any salt water spiders, something interesting tho!

I'll keep an eye on this one.

Hard to say. It could just be the slimecoat coming off after he died. I doubt it was a bristleworm. Even if one attacked, the fish would be able to swim away.
Its probably just a loss due to cycling. The domino's are not nearly as hardy as the yellowtails or the blues.
