They are notorious bullies for real. I had a yellow tail as my first fish.
anything added after that was fair game, it killed my clown, and would have my goby, but i got em out.

Its hard to say that ALL are aggressive, but in your situation i would go ahead and add a pair that are very small. I'm not sure if you've seen any of those fish when they are juvis, but there small and your tank being 46 gallons if there added together they'll be accustomed to each other when they grow big and become bullies or not, bcuz mine got big and fast.

I might be a little worried that in the future it may see one of those chromis as competition, as they are closely related.

but i think it would be okay, if you kept your eye on em. I vote for the stripe damsels. theyre pretty neat fish, not as "flashy" as most fish out there but its that what makes me like em.

Yellow tail Damsels are a little more docile(not much) then Blues or Striped Damsels. Your tank is simply not big enough to house so many aggresive fish.IMO
Your fish may be fast but if its a run with no place to hide you will be inviting death into your aquarium. Something I try to avoid.;)
