I have a Danner wfp 2100 Danner Pro HY-Drive Water Pump
and it will not restart I think I need to replace the the rotor inside, but don't know how to do it. I want to take it apart and see if there is anything I can do to get it going for until I can get the part/s. Anyone deal with a pump like this before taking it apart? It lookslike it is sealed so I am afraid to open it without having parts.

Most likely it has build up around the impeller/shaft...take it apart and clean it...if that gets it started run it in a bucket with some vinegar for a bit to dissolve calcium build up inside the pump.

I do this every couple of months for all of my pumps as a PM (Preventative Maintenance) measure.

I did this before as well, but I am now cleaning them with muriatic acid and water (5/95 mix) and there is nothing like it. They come out of the soak bowl looking shiny new and performing like the first time. You can buy the acid at home depot, or even a pool & spa place. Make sure the area is well ventilated.

So I got it going, but never got it apart I do not know how to get it apart. I will have to do so even after since it has been giving me trouble on restarts. I have had it for about 2 years running constant and haven't really done anything to it besides clean off the impeller. I need to find out how to get the rotor out I will probably replace the rotor while I am at it since it probably needs it.

Yes, it sounds to me like you're past due for a maintenance cleaning. If u use the acid, u would not absolutely have to take it apart, but it will be a more thorough cleaning if u did. Can you post a pic or model of the pump and maybe we can help u figure out how to take it apart.
