    that is a spooky tower of cyano, launch a torpedo at it! Get it out def. Turn off any powerheads and gently remove it so it doesn't break apart and infect any other areas of the tank. I battled cyano as many other did for months and I hate it.

    yep, it's definitely cyano.

    Siphon that out.

    The reason it is "rising" is due to bubbles in the center making it buoyant.
