We added a six line wrasse and cleaner shrimp to the tank yesterday. The wrasse was weaving in and out of the rocks and ate flake food - seemed pretty content. I got up early to work this morning and turned the lights on - no wrasse. Jwin told me he might hide - I also heard they were jumpers. So, I get my trusty flashlight, go searching all over the tank, under rocks, behind the tank - no wrasse. About an hour later, I go into the kitchen and when I come back, there he is, peeking out from behind a rock. Now, he's happily weaving again. I was more worried about the cleaner shrimp yesterday, especially after we heard the pistol shrimp "go off." Now if I could only get my work done instead of staring at the tank....

They do like to burrow in the sand at night. Nice additions. Where is the pics.

Here are the pics. It's hard to get a good one of the wrasse - he's pretty fast (hence, the name "Mr. Zippy"). They're both doing great. The cleaner shrimp is quite the entertainer.

Great fish, my six-line does his "funny-dance" after he eats. He flares his fins, simming arkward, up and down........too funny. One of the hardest working fish around and beautiful colors to go with it. Luna

Ours has come to enjoy doing figure 8's around the top of the rock structure in the evening about an hour before lights out. At first I thought he was sick...but he's just sick in the head. Physically he's great. He was swimming really quickly almost sideways. But now it's a normal occurence.

my 6 line disappeared for 6+ weeks in the back of my nano then decided to come back to the display tank if they dont want to be found, they wont be so I wouldn't stress to much when they disappear and you don't find a fish chip on the floor

Grats on a great new fish they add tons of personality and color to a tank

Six lines a make a mucus cocoon to sleep in at night, I once made the mistake of thinking it was dead..... it was not.
