I'm doing something a little different than most, I want to have a dasyllus dominated tank, I'm wondering will 3 or 4 different types be okay in one tank? I know most damsels will fight each other but will the same genus be okay?

Just my experience, I have a 5"-6" Domino damsel, only damsel in my marine shark pond, not the biggest fish in there, but by far the most dominant. Any new fish must make it through a round of fights with him before he can stay or has to go. I cant imagine several adult Dascyllus damsels in the same tank at their maturity.
    Just my experience.

I know what you mean, they can be little devils literally, I have had several before, When i have had several they schooled and just kept to themselves and were hosted in everything from anemones to soft corals and more. However when i had them(Dasyllus trimaculatus),(Dascyllus auripinnis) they both schooled in pairs. They were nasty to the others in the tank but great within the same family I found. But hence my question about diffeferent types in the same genus.
