So there is only one cord for both lights? Is the Ballest built into the light? What is the name brand and model number?

A link to a picture would help.
If you only have one power cord then leave the switch ON and plug the power cord into a timer and set the timer to what you wish.
If you have 2 cords the you will need 2 timers unless you want to switch them on/off every day.

They are JEBO lights I know not the best quality but I figure I'll give them a try.
So here's the thing it only has one outlet plug and two little flip switches on the top of the canopy. One switch for the actinic's and one switch for the 10,000k's. It says on the ad two switches for use with separate timers? To simulate dawn to dusk. So how would you be able to do that with switches and not outlet plugs? Is there a way I don't know about? Other than buying a $200 octopus unit?
The unit houses 4 -55 watt compact fluorescents Total 220 watts. The equivalent of running a clothes dryer 12 hours a day every day :-X

With one plug, you're hosed. I think you'll have to rewire it to get everything on timers.  :p
