    I would just like to know what you all were doing if anything as far as creating a difference in flow during the hours lights are out.
    or is it even benificial to do so.

    i don't do any thing some people have powerheads on timers or wave makers. i don't see how its beneficial to turn the powerheads off at night unless the fish are being blasted into the glass and can't rest.

    My flow doesn't change unless I physically alter something. And I rarely do that.

    Same here i re adjust when I'm feeding but would like a wave maker to do it for me and switch up the flows

    I've heard with wave makers you have to buy certain powerheads for it.

    Maxijets are commonly known for their ability to work well with wavemakers

    what im getting is a control system so i can use any powerhead just program them when to turn on and off

    Most of my PH turn off at night, I only have the return pump and 1-koralia#4 working at night. Reefkeeper 2 pretty sweet system to have.

    thats what I wanted but I'm going with the Neptune system aqua controller 2 it gives you more control and what sold me on it is its ORP probe hookup the RK2 dont act as a opr controller
