yeah caribsea is nice, but check out the costs, reefrocks is pretty cheap comparative. I ordered mine on a friday and had it on thursday, so not bad for free shipping. Oh BTW, if you order like 30 pounds of rock they give you 40 pounds of sand for free with just $15 shipping! not shabby.

Everything went great until I moved the tank into place and started filling. Tanks not level.

    updates for today
tank is full and has perfect sg. (dont know how that happened since i just dumped in what i thought would be the right amount of salt lol)

    tonights checklist.
rinse sand and add to tank.
    make my light hanger.
    organize some wires.
if tank is at right temp and isnt to cloudy from the sand i might add livestock, if not tomorrow.

ill post pics once i add everything!!

Had a water change happen like that a few weeks back...nailed it on first try in my 30 gallon mixing container.

Congrats on being almost there! New setups are always fun!

Everything is in and doing great!
I realized I need a lot more coral though lol this 6footer takes a lot more coral than a 3footer.

    I'll take some pics soon!

Bad pic I know. Sand is clearing from aquascaping.
Went with a very simple layout but I love all the open space and sand areas.
I had to keep the cave for my cleaner shrimp and tang since they liked to chill in there in the 65g.
So far the tang is zooming around like crazy so I'm sure he appreciates the extra space. I'll get taking better pics tomorrow once the water clears up.
